Staff text messages
Terms and privacy for texts from the Pawz at Play staff app. Last updated September 28, 2026.
Who sends them, and to whom
Pawz at Play, a dog daycare, boarding and grooming business in Overland Park, Kansas, texts its own employees through its staff scheduling app. We never send marketing or promotional texts, and texting is never required to work here.
What we text
- Your weekly work schedule when it's posted, and changes to shifts you're on.
- Answers to your time-off and availability requests.
- One-time codes to sign in to the staff app, only when you ask for one.
How often depends on the schedule, usually a few messages a week. Message and data rates may apply.
How you opt in
Texts are off until you turn them on. Sign in to the staff app, go to Profile → Notifications, add your mobile number and tick Text next to the updates you want. Ticking a box means you agree to these terms. Sign-in codes are sent only when you request one on the sign-in page.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from us, or untick the Text boxes in Profile → Notifications. Reply HELP for help. After STOP you'll get one confirmation and nothing more unless you opt in again.
Privacy
We use your mobile number only to send the texts described here. We don't sell, rent or share your number or your opt-in with anyone for marketing. Our text provider (Twilio) handles the number only to deliver our messages. The staff app keeps a record of when you turned texts on or off.
